Aims & Scope
Focus and Scope of Journal
Folia Iuridica was founded in 1980 as a series within the scientific journals of the University of Lodz, the originator of which was Professor Jerzy Wroblewski. Initially, the periodical contained articles authored by researchers from the Faculty of Law and Administration at Lodz University. For several years now, it has also included papers written outside the University.
Currently, the journals of Folia Iuridica are of a themed and interdisciplinary nature, incorporating not only issues related to jurisprudence and scrutinised from the lawyer’s perspective, but also aspects of legal theory seen from the point of view of philosophers, logicians, sociologists, psychologists, and economists.
